One person is a caller. The three lines stand for upper deck, middle deck, and lower deck. The lead caller calls a line name and participants have to run to that line. The last person to make it to a line drops out. The caller will say "hit the deck" when the person is out and they must take a seat. The game continues until there is one person left.
